These terms cover the use of this website. What governs an entry is the Regulations, and they take precedence.
The site
This website publishes information about The First Movement's prizes. We try to keep every date, fee and name on it accurate, and we correct errors when we find them. Where something here contradicts the Regulations, the Regulations govern.
Entering a Prize
An entry is governed by the Regulations, the judging criteria and the refund policy, all of which are published before entries open. The version in force on the date you enter governs your entry.
Content on this site
The text, design and photographs on this site belong to The First Movement or are used with permission. The engravings are from Henri Lavoix, Histoire de la musique (Paris, 1884) and are in the public domain. The typefaces are licensed under the SIL Open Font License. You are welcome to quote and link to anything here with attribution.
Links to other sites
Performances are hosted on third-party video platforms and are subject to those platforms' own terms. We embed but do not host them.
Limits
We publish this site in good faith but cannot guarantee it is uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not permit it, or affects rights you hold under the consumer law of your own country.

The First Movement is being incorporated; its registered name, address and registration number will be published here before the first application is accepted. Until then, reach us at office@thefirstmovement.org.
These terms will be reviewed by counsel before applications open.
